What the developers have not told you
This is the part other pages fill in with guesswork, so here is the honest version: the official announcement contains no claim or account-linking instructions at all. It lists the rewards, the hours and the dates, and nothing else.
Two things follow that we are not going to state as fact. The announcement does not say whether the reward tiers share one running total — meaning six hours would earn all three — or whether each is counted separately. And it does not define “participating”.
Twitch Drops normally accumulate against a single campaign total, and normally require a live channel with Drops enabled rather than the category page itself. But that is how Twitch’s system generally behaves, not something the developers have confirmed here.

In the 12 August developer post the studio wrote, under the heading More Twitch Drops: “New exclusive cosmetics! More Twitch Drops are on the way for this weekend. We’ll share the exact campaigns and unlock details separately once they’re ready.”
That was written about the weekend the current campaign covers. Whether a further campaign follows has not been stated — and the same post’s content roadmap runs to October without mentioning drops again.
